Data protection is very important to us. We will treat your data in the same way we would want our own personal information to be treated. We would NEVER sell your email address or send you spam. We will get in touch with you about your (potential or agreed) booking and things that are related to your booking.

 

WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY (AKA THE LONG VERSION)

 

This privacy policy is for our website; www.bygonephotobooth.co.uk which is co-owned by Miss Stephanie Mortimer & Mr Joseph McAree  ( AKA Mr & Mrs Bygone ) at the business address 408 The White Studios, Templeton on the Green, Glasgow, G40 1DA. 

 

WHAT DATA DO YOU COLLECT?

 

We collect your names upon enquiry and a way of getting in touch with you (the email address you enquire from). Once a booking is confirmed we require your home address (to send you a confirmation Telegram & USB of imagery of ordered), your event venue location and contact details (so we know where to go on the night).

 

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE DATA?

 

When you enquire your email and name is stored on our Gmail account only accessed by the company directors (Stephanie Mortimer & Joseph McAree).  Once a booking is confirmed the information collected in the above paragraph is stored on our Quickfile.com accounting software from where we send your invoice/reminders/log payments/send receipts which is again only accessed by the company directors. Both means of software are password protected.

 

We retain copyright of all images taken in the Bygone Booth. We do not sell said images on to stock image companies or companies of a similar vein. We may however use your images on our website and social media.  We may also allow other weddings businesses to feature them under our name.  

 

As Standard policy with Bygone Booth after your event we will post a single picture on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) followed by an album of your imagery on our Facebook account with all relevant links to your venue for purpose of promotion on both behalf’s. We also link an additional album of your imagery via pixieset.com for your guests to purchase extra photographs of their imagery if they so choose.  This link only remains online between 2 to 3 months.

 

If you do not wish for your imagery to be used on our social media platforms we completely understand and without reason will comply with these Wishes.

 

We store your images on encrypted hard drives in our home.

YOUR RIGHTS

 

So you can drop us a wee email if you have any additional questions which is cool. You can also ask us what personal data we have on you – but you’re not going to be surprised as the only info we will have on you is info you gave us.

 

You can ask to have your wedding photographs kept private – not everyone wants to be on the internet, or can be due to their professions. Just let us know in advance so we avoid any embarrassment.

 

You can also ask us to delete all your personal data – but we’re going to be honest, if we’ve not shot your wedding yet it’ll make it mega hard for us to actually finalise all the details with you.

 

SOME SERIOUS STUFF ABOUT THE DPA & GDPR MAY 2018

 

This website complies with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and complies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which came into effect from May 2018. We will update this policy accordingly after the completion of the UK’s exit from the European Union.
